Exec PA student Emma landed a job as an Assistant P.A only four weeks into her course.

Emma says "The training at Pitman Training Kingston was great for me several reasons. Firstly it was flexible which meant that I could fit it in around my commitments. Nanny Coralie decided that the time was right for a change of career-she’d loved organising children and thought that a role as a PA might suit her. She enrolled on Microsoft Office Skills Diploma to supplement her touch typing skills. Coralie is now working as secretary for a team of sales people at one of the London’s most prestigious estate agents.

Coralie says: " I had been thinking of changing careers for a while but the idea was a bit daunting. Doing a Pitman’s Training Diploma gave me the confidence to get out there and try something new. Ricki M

glazier and owner of RJM Glass Ricki thought that he might be able to do some of the work that he had previously sent to his accountant so he enrolled to do a Sage Line 50 accounting course. It was well within his capabilities and Ricki is now thinking of how he can spend the money that he will save by doing his own VAT returns.

Ricki says: "The Pitman Training style was great for me as a busy tradesmen who never knows when he is going to be free. It was easy to fit the training in around my jobs. The course was well explained and Doug was always there to help me whenever I needed it. I’ll be back to do another course in September.”

Hetti T

Although a highly qualified graduate manager from Sri Lanka, Hetti found it hard to find work in his chosen field so he enrolled on some Pitman courses. Hetti's certificates in Book-Keeping and Sage Line 50 have helped him to begin work in a Finance Department.

Hetti says: " I want to thank Pitman who gave me a lot of support and guidance so that I could find a job. The Sage computerised accounting course helped me to gain additional scores in my job interview.”

Kim R

With an honours degree from Kingston University under her belt, mother of two Kim thought that it was time to return to the workplace. Kim enrolled on a Secretarial Diploma course in order to brush up her former office skills. Kim was back in work within days of completing her diploma with distinction.

Kim says: " This course not only updated my skills, but really gave me the confidence and belief that I could re-enter the workplace as an employable candidate.”
